I had the pleasure of visiting Amsterdam and wanted to incorporate the architecture and site seeing into my tiles and pottery.

The "Dancing Houses" tile was built up, with each house and windows measured out, from high-fire stoneware and then slipped and scored onto the tile. The "Dancing Houses" pot was made first on the wheel with high-fire stoneware and then connected with slip and score the measured out houses and windows. 

The Tulip Pottery were first thrown on the wheel with high-fire stoneware. The tulips, that were hand cut and assembled, were then attached with slip and score.
